HP has just introduced its first 30-inch monitor, the HP ZR30w S-IPS LCD Display, capable of offering more than 1.07 billion colors and the best resolution on the market. This new member of the HP Performance Displays family provides 30-bit per pixel color resolution and more than 1.07 billion exposed colors, well above the 16.7 million colors offered on most monitors of this size.

Especially aimed at animation professionals, video game creators, television creatives, design and graphic arts, activities in which design is essential, the HP ZR30w increases up to 64 times the variety of colors that conventional LCD screens generally offer. With a professional S-IPS panel that covers 100% of sRGB and 99% of Adobe RGB, on the HP ZR30w reds, blues and greens take on an intensity never seen before.

With 4.1 million pixels, for maximum precision, the new HP monitor offers a resolution of 2560 x 1600 and a dynamic contrast ratio of 3000:1, for maximum visual performance. In addition, the new HP ZR30w is equipped with DisplayPort and DVI-D connectors, an integrated 4-port USB hub and, thanks to HP Quick Release(1), it is possible to start working with it just by connecting it, without major configuration needs or complicated installations.

The HP ZR30w allows maximum comfort and the best visual positioning thanks to its adjustable stand with up to 6 different positions that provides tilt, swivel and height adaptability. This new HP monitor offers a careful design and polished aluminum finish that follows the aesthetics of the company's Z Series workstations.

In addition, it incorporates a power supply that provides an energy efficiency of 85%.
