SABC manages all World Cup programming with Pilat Media's IBMS

The IBMS family of content management systems encompasses multi-channel and multi-platform library and rights management, allowing last-minute changes to the programming schedule in a matter of minutes thanks to its flexible workflow engine and different interfaces with broadcast systems.

La sudafricana SABC está supervisando toda la programación del Mundial 2010 como broadcaster anfitrión con el sistema integrado de gestión de emisión IBMS de Pilat Media. SABC está dando una amplia cobertura en vivo de todos los 64 partidos, junto con noticias, análisis, y destacados desde la mañana hasta la tarde durante todo el mes del torneo. SABC laid the foundations for its new infrastructure in November 2008 when it began replacing a significant number of disparate systems with the IBMS solution. This unified and integrated system allows more than 170 SABC professionals to plan and program the entire SABC schedule on its three television channels, as well as interface with the media management system used by the broadcaster.
