Glidetrack, an ingenious portable dolly and traveling system
Grau Luminotecnia already has Glidetrack systems. It is an ingenious system of rails of different sizes and lengths that allow simple camera movements as if it were a dolly or traveling shot. Glidetrack has several models of different lengths (from 50 to 200 cm) and applications. Smoothness, precision, robustness, lightness, everything to give a professional touch to any recording or use them in small spaces.

Grau Luminotecnia It already has Glidetrack systems in its facilities in Madrid and Barcelona. These are rails of different sizes and lengths that allow simple camera movements as if it were a dolly or tracking shot. These rails can be mounted on 1 or 2 tripods depending on the length, or mounted directly on a table, for example, for still life recording. The camera head (with a flat base) is mounted on the sliding carriage which in turn slides along the rail using Teflon bearings. Smoothness, precision, robustness, lightness, everything to give a professional touch to any recording or use them in small spaces.
These systems can accommodate cameras of different sizes and formats as well as the Canon EOS 5D Mark II, 7D and 550D.
Glidetrack has several models of different lengths and applications. The smallest of the family is the Glidetrack Shooter and is designed for the new generation of DSLR cameras that can record video (Canon 5D, 7D, 550D, Nikon D90, D3S). In addition, the Shooter has a double use, on the one hand it is a sliding rail and on the other it is a practical shoulder camera support, with Grau having two versions and three sizes for each version.
The lightest rail is the Shooter SD (designed for cameras without accessories) and is sold in lengths between 50 and 100 cm, while the Shooter HD is a slightly more robust version and accepts the same cameras equipped with filter holders and other accessories (from 50 cm to 1 meter).
As for the Glidetrack SD, it is the original rail and the starting point for the development of the other versions, standing out for its ease of use, assembly and transportation. Ideal for medium-sized camcorders up to Canon XH-A1, Sony FX or similar. This rail also goes from half a meter to a meter with a price between 319 and 409. In its HD version, it supports medium-sized camcorders with accessories. It can be mounted on the tripod at one end, simulating crane arm movements, or perform inclined tracking shots using two tripods. In this case it is sold in lengths of 50, 75, 100, 150 and 200 centimeters (in the latter case it requires two tripods) at a price between 459 and 779.
For larger shoulder cameras, the proposal is the Glidetrack XD, designed to replace traditional tracking shots in places with little space. Although it is essential to mount it with two tripods for the 2 meter length, it is recommended to also do so with the shorter lengths to give it stability given the weight of the cameras we are using. The tripods can be camera or lighting tripods with a ¾" stud. Gracu has an adapter for a 100mm cup, not included in the price. Their lengths are 100, 150 and 200 cm with prices between 819 and 999 euros.
The Glidetracks are sold at a price ranging from 350 euros in their most basic version to 999 euros in the two-meter XD version.
