ERTU opts for Enterprise sQ to complete its HD migration

ERTU, the Egyptian state broadcaster, has chosen Quantel Enterprise sQ to complete its migration to high definition in a project carried out by Systems Design. The system is scheduled to come into operation in October 2010.

ERTU, the Egyptian state broadcaster, has chosen Quantel Enterprise sQ to complete its migration to high definition in a project carried out by Systems Design.

The Quantel system will be used to produce both news and other programs in the ERTU studios. To this end, the sQ has been integrated into the existing ENPS news system.

Los servidores sQ de Quantel proveerán 3.000 horas de material AVCi50 HD con soporte de 60 sQ View, sQ Cut y sQ Edit así como sQ Edit Plus Craft Editors.

El sistema se divide en varias zonas para proporcionar mayor interoperatividad y seguridad. Tanto la ingesta, como la automatización de la emisión se controlan desde Aveco integrado mediante una interfaz VDCP. El sistema está previsto que entre en operación en octubre de 2010.
