Shotoku Broadcast Systems will showcase a wide range of applications at IBC, highlighting its line of high-capacity control panels, including a new Ethernet control system. It will also showcase a small but high-precision compact unit for single-operator productions as well as its Orchestra remote camera management system, now available with a touch screen option, the TRP-100 robotic studio pedestal (one of the star products at recent shows) as well as a full range of robotics and solutions for virtual reality.
Among the new features, its new TR-HP control panel stands out. It is a unit that offers a very small footprint while maintaining highly precise camera control via joystick. The TR-HP is ideal for very economical single-operator productions where stored camera positions can be called up automatically, allowing a single operator to conveniently control multiple cameras.
The joystick together with the rotary control knob allows the operator to make perfect pan, tilt, zoom and focus movements, also having up to 12 assignable and LED-illuminated buttons and various mixing functions. The “Auto On-Air” function allows the panel to always be in control of the camera that is in the air, making operation even easier. Up to three panels can be mounted together
TRP-100
As for Shotoku's flagship, the TRP-100 robotic pedestal supports any load capacity up to 100kg while sliding through 750mm height and up to 300mm per second. Its advanced navigation and manual control has extended the limits of traditional robotic camera control with fast and smooth movement while maintaining precision and repeatability, making it an ideal solution for virtual studios. Its sophisticated navigation system is easily calibrated in seconds with markings located anywhere on the studio floor.
