Aicox Soluciones has begun to market the new coaxial cables of the Mini Circuits brand, Hand Flex models 086 and 141.
These cables are suitable for interconnecting coaxial components or subsystems and include a copper-clad steel conductor that maintains its shape after bending.
The structure includes a copper-coated steel conductor that maintains its shape after bending. The outer part consists of a copper-tin braid, which minimizes signal leakage while being flexible to facilitate bending of the cable. In addition, it has a low dielectric loss PTFE. Each connector includes a stainless steel nut mated over a gold-plated connector and a copper center conductor.
The 086 series coaxial cable is suitable for the integration of coaxial components and partial sub-assemblies without the need for a special cable bending tool and counteracts the risk of damage during the bending process of the semi-rigid coaxial cable assembly. This cable is capable of making connections in tight spaces (6mm bend radius), making it suitable for the integration of dense systems.
Maintaining typical return loss of 33dB at 6GHz and 21dB at 18GHz, this series is ideal for interconnecting a wide variety of RF components while minimizing VSWR wave contribution due to mating cables and connectors.
Series 086 and 141
The 086 series also supports high and medium RF power levels allowing cables to be used in the transmission path (211W at 0.5 GHz and 35W at 18 GHz).
Also note that this series includes an anti-twist function to support the connector body during installation, counteracting the risk of stress on the connection/interface cable. It also includes a blue FEP insulating coating to reduce the risk of accidental shorting of DC lines or live pins during installation and operation.
As for the 141 series (with return loss 30dB at 6GHz and 21 dB at 18 GHz, it supports RF power levels of 546W at 0.5 GHz and 90W at 18 GHz).
