The Peruvian RPP TV, launched with VSN and Brainstorm

RPP, the radio station with the largest audience in Peru, will soon take another step in its television career with RPP TV, a new high-definition news channel. VSN has been the technology selected in the technical deployment of a complete HD system, integrated into the channel and delivered “turnkey” by the Telvicom company. The installation will have two Brainstorm virtual sets.

VSN has been the technology selected in the technical deployment of a complete HD system, integrated into the channel and delivered “turnkey” by the Telvicom company.

Enrique Luna Victoria, manager of RPP TV, has recognized that “VSN systems greatly expedited the installation of the system due to its ease of integration.”

The project comprises a complete VSNNews news production system with five editorial positions and five editing positions, teleprompter, two HD channel studio playout and high definition graphics. The installation is integrated with two Brainstorm virtual sets and comprises a VSNLegalrec legal copy system and a VSNStorage storage system. The channel also acquires a six-channel VSNAutorec line programmed ingestion system (2 in HD and 4 in SD) and continuity based on two VSNMatic HD video servers.

The synergy between modules from the same manufacturer facilitates seamless integration between the different subsystems, which has led to significant savings in costs and time for RRP TV, who does not rule out implementing future redundancy of the system and expanding jobs.
