Thanks to VSNExplorer and VSNOne TV it allows Eurovision Americas to send content to the headquarters located in Geneva, where they are distributed as part of the Eurovision News Exchange.

Eurovision in Washington DC

The office of Eurovision Americas in Washington has trusted the systems VSNExplorer y VSNOne TV of VSN to launch a pilot solution that allows them to carry out news coverage of North America and the sending content to the headquarters located in Geneva, where they are distributed as part of the Eurovision News Exchange, a system that provides content to more than 70 EBU members, sublicensees and audiovisual partners.

Sarah Lanningham, Vice President of News and Events at Eurovision Americas, acknowledges that "we have been very satisfied with VSN's quick reaction and their ability to develop a system that would allow us to edit remotely in real time. The implementation of the VSN system has allowed the Eurovision offices in Washington and New York to maintain their contributions to the Eurovision News Exchange while we work safely from home."

In essence, the system installed for Eurovision Washington allows them record without interruption a series of signals in baseband and perform a quick selection of fragments and edit them in low resolution with VSN web video editor, Wedit. Once the information pieces are validated, they are finally sent and shared with the headquarters in Geneva.

All these operations and workflows are carried out simultaneously and promoting collaborative work between professionalss, allowing users to select segments, edit, and even send content remotely while video signals are ingested through VSNOne TV. All this without the need to install any additional application, since the VSNExplorer platform has been developed entirely in HTML5 and can be operated from any web browser.
