RTVE launches an innovative centralized editorial system in the territorial center of Castilla-La Mancha
The remote centralized digital content production system is the first of its kind to be implemented in Spain and Europe. It connects all the center's informants with each other and with Torrespaña, and resources are shared without the need for exchanges or shipments.
RTVE has launched the centralized writing system in the Territorial Center of Castilla-La Mancha, an innovative and pioneering project in Spain and Europe that allows information to be shared with significant savings in time, maintenance and energy consumption. An advance that has been possible thanks to the departments of Technology, Innovation and Systems, News Directorate, Territorial Center of Castilla-La Mancha and the RTVE Institute.
The remote centralized digital content production system concentrates the technology and its maintenance in Torrespaña. It allows all informants in the territorial center of Castilla-La Mancha (Toledo, Guadalajara, Cuenca, Albacete, Ciudad Real and Talavera) to be connected to each other and to Torrespaña, so that they can access from their positions the content with which they prepare information, without the need for exchanges or shipments that slow down the process. Therefore, it facilitates collaborative work between the different units of the territorial center, optimizes human resources and increases the quality and speed of information.
