RTVE will unify its headquarters in Castilla y León into a new territorial center

Production and media management RTVE, through the infrastructure department, is developing the execution file for the construction of its new territorial center in Castilla y León.

This new infrastructure will unify the current TVE headquarters in Duero Lagoon y RNE in Valladolid in a new building that will have around 1.800 m2 built on the plot of 4,072 m2 owned by RTVE located in the urban core of the city. You will have outdoor covered parking, and television set of around 150 m2, three control-locutory units for RNE (of which one of them will capture images for television), two video editing booths and others two of locution.

As pointed out RTVE, with this building a solution is provided to the existing problems at the headquarters of TVE in Laguna de Duero, both of “obsolescence in its facilities” and of “inadequacy of the property itself to current needs”, finally achieving with the unification “cost optimization and greater efficiency in joint operation”.

On the other hand, and in order to achieve an improvement in the sustainability of the new construction, the achievement of the GREEN Certification (Building Reference Efficiency Rating) issued by the Council for Sustainable Building of Spain.
