Antena 3 advances its programming with a blockbuster in the purest North American style
With a musical blockbuster, directed by Albert Uria and his production company Garage Films, Antena 3 will advance its season for next year. This gala will be the first preview of the new corporate identity that the Spanish chain will launch in January and which will have effects on continuity. In January, Antena 3 Noticias will also inaugurate a new set and a new staging of information.
Antena 3 premieres this Wednesday, December 29, in prime time (10:21 p.m.) and in simultaneous broadcast on Neox, Nova, Nitro and anten3.com a musical blockbuster with which the network will present the 2011 television season.
The musical, in which more than fifty stars of the network (from its news programs and series) have participated, will also mark the launch of Antena 3's claim for next year, as well as the first preview of the new corporate identity that the network will premiere in January and which will have effects on the continuity of the channel.
Also in January, and simultaneously, Antena 3 Noticias will inaugurate a new and spectacular set that will serve as a framework for a new concept of staging television information.
The blockbuster, almost four minutes long, will combine the genre of fiction with the musical and has been made by the best professionals in each discipline. The work is signed by Garage Films, a production company specialized in advertising awarded by the sector as the “Best Production Company of the Year” in 2009 and 2010.
The premiere of the musical was preceded by an intense teaser campaign on television and radio, which revealed small fragments of the production's rehearsals. Today's premiere represents the centerpiece of a series made up of several pieces that will be broadcast on Antena 3 in the coming weeks. Along with them, the campaign will be completed with television spots also starring the network's stars.
For this production, Antena 3 has hired Danielle Flora, a North American actress, singer and choreographer, who has worked on series such as Los Conchords, Rockefeller Plaza y Saturday Night Live, a legendary North American television program for which she is currently the choreographer. Danielle Flora has participated in the choreography of eight editions of the MTV Video Music Awards Gala, the NBC 75th Anniversary Special Gala and the 2001 “Vogue Fashion” Awards Gala on VH1 television, as well as in numerous television and Internet advertisements and for numerous musical artists such as Luis Miguel.
Under the baton of Albert Uria
An advertising director with more than fifteen years of experience, Albert Uria has been directing this production for Antena 3. Uria has to his credit some of the most renowned advertising productions in recent years, including Aquarius (Coca-Cola) and Ikea, Where two fit..., both awarded. He lives between Barcelona and New York where he carries out most of the productions he directs.

Later, he would work exclusively in the production of advertising spots for the production companies Milana Bonita and Albiñana Films.
After this experience, he decided to take on the challenge of creating his own company, Garage Films, together with his brother Oriol Uria, its executive producer.
The artistic direction of the project has been carried out by Paco Trinidad. A professional who with more than 73 gold records, 50 platinum records in Spain and the Ondas Award for Best Producer in 1992, accepted the challenge of getting the most out of the Antena 3 stars for this musical.
