Spanish cinema collected 12.7% of the box office in 2010

The spectator fee amounts to 12.7%. The total collection of Spanish cinema, according to the ICAA, amounted to 80.27 million euros in 2010. The number of spectators who came to see Spanish films was 12,928,363.
The three most viewed Spanish films throughout 2010 were Three meters above the sky (Globomedia, Zeta Cinema, Antena 3 films and Charanga Films) with 1.3 million viewers, Let the ugly die (Apart Films and Antena 3 Films) 1.1 million, and Julia's eyes (Rodar y Rodar and Antena 3 Films) with 1.08 million.
FAPAE (Federation of Associations of Spanish Audiovisual Producers) has stated that, without being satisfactory, the published data is clearly superior to that reported by unofficial sources.
