New business models are the focus of the 10th Professional Conference of the AVA Foundation
The tenth edition of the X Professional Conference of the Audiovisual Foundation of Andalusia, sponsored by the Ministry of Economy, Innovation and Science and the RTVA with the collaboration of Rooter, will bring together in Seville on April 12 and 13 professionals, companies and heads of institutions who will analyze the transformations in the Audiovisual-ICT value chain.
For the tenth consecutive year, the Audiovisual Foundation of Andalusia will bring together companies and professionals to analyze and debate the latest strategies and needs of the audiovisual industry. The new Professional Conferences focus this edition on “New business models: Transformations in the value chain in Audiovisual-ICT” and will be held on April 12 and 13, 2011 at the RTVA Multipurpose Hall in Seville (Andalusia Pavilion. Av. José Gálvez, 1. Isla de la Cartuja).
Organized with the sponsorship of the Ministry of Economy, Innovation and Science of the Government of Andalusia and the Public Business Agency of Radio and Television of Andalusia (RTVA) of the Ministry of the Presidency, and with the collaboration of Rooter, the Conference will analyze the modifications produced in the value chain of the audiovisual sector in the new products developed for the different exploitation windows offered by ICT. Furthermore, during the meeting the importance of the transformation of traditional companies towards a new business culture that better adapts to the new needs of the market will be highlighted.
In this sense, topics such as the 360º design of audiovisual products, online marketing and commercialization strategies, crowdfunding and new forms of financing and collective creation, strategic alliances for audiovisual production on the Internet, the phenomenon of web series, as well as transmedia content in audiovisual production will be addressed. Likewise, the new business opportunities derived from the implosion of the borders that until recently existed between media outlets, content developers, advertising agencies, etc. will be defined.

The AVA Foundation continues with actions such as these annual Professional Conferences, programming activities and tools that respond to the demands of Andalusian professionals and companies and in its determined commitment to the promotion of the audiovisual sector of our Community, establishes collaborations with the Ministry of Economy, Innovation and Science and other institutions aimed at promoting the development of the audiovisual-ICT industry in Andalusia in the face of the business opportunities offered by New Information and Communication Technologies.
The X Professional Conferences are free of charge and the registration period ends next April 7. Applications will be accepted in order of arrival until capacity is reached.
