Elsa Martínez, president of the Spain Film Commission, has signed an agreement with APPA, the National Association of Audiovisual Production Professionals, to develop actions that promote filming in Spain, such as promoting incentives for local spending on international filming.

The president of the Spain Film Commission, Elsa Martínez, signed this Tuesday in Ciudad de La Luz a collaboration agreement with the president of the National Association of Audiovisual Production Professionals (APPA), Fernando Victoria de Lecea, by virtue of which both associations undertake to adopt, promote and promote all actions that, within their respective fields of action or competencies, serve as the ultimate goal for the preparation of an audiovisual production manual, “Shooting in Spain”.

This manual is proposed as a negotiation and consulting tool with all types of administrations and public and private companies to favor, simplify and attract the development of filming in Spain. Another commitment is to promote actions regarding incentives for local spending on international filming in Spain, and to cooperate with the corresponding public and private organizations and institutions, to promote and disseminate the joint objectives they pursue, both nationally and internationally.

The presidents of both associations, Elsa Martínez and Fernando Victoria de Lecea, have committed, among other things, to the development of an economic impact study and to work on as many actions as are necessary to promote incentives for local spending on international filming.
