APPA signs a collaboration agreement with Valencia Film Office

The director of the Valencia Tourism Foundation, Antoni Bernabé, the first deputy mayor and councilor for Economic Development, Joan Calabuig, and the councilor for Public Space, Carlos Galiana, have presented a website to promote the necessary actions to position Valencia as a 'film friendly' destination. The Member of the Board of Directors of APPA (Association of Audiovisual Production Professionals) José Jaime Linares attended the event on behalf of the association, during which the signing of the collaboration agreement between both entities was announced.

Valencia Film SetThe new portal web It has an image bank of locations, forms and all the resources necessary to film in Valencia, available in Spanish and English, and a contact guide that, for the moment, includes the main associative representatives of the Valencian audiovisual sector. This will serve as support material at national and international fairs.
Along with this website, the Single Window has been presented for the management of permits and the elimination of fees for filming that promotes the city, agreements reached in previous meetings in which José Jaime Linares was also present.

La firma de este convenio entre APPA y Fundación Turismo de Valencia supone una acción para unir fuerzas en el sector audiovisual.

Este acuerdo tiene como objetivos el desarrollo de sus actividades promocionales y de gestión, además de su reconocimiento en el mercado audiovisual. Esta colaboración pondrá las bases para el intercambio de ideas en torno al desarrollo de medidas dirigidas a fortalecer el sector, promoción para la captación de rodajes nacionales e internacionales, optimización de procesos para atraer rodajes, como también de la promoción mutua, la cooperación con diversos organismos e instituciones, favorecer la colaboración entre productores de sus territorios, así como la realización de jornadas conjuntas destinadas al sector.
Desde APPA seguiremos con nuestro objetivo de firmar acuerdos de colaboración con entidades para el buen desarrollo de la profesionalización del sector.
