Brainstorm signs a collaboration agreement with the University of Santiago de Compostela

Brainstorm Multimedia will give this university twenty-one eStudio licenses, the firm's most advanced 3D graphics and real-time virtual studies solution.

The University of Santiago de Compostela has signed a regulatory agreement for the transfer by Brainstorm Multimedia of twenty-one eStudio licenses, the firm's most advanced real-time 3D graphics and virtual studio solution.

These professional software licenses are intended for training and experimentation in virtual scenography and 3D graphics in the Audiovisual Innovation and Application Laboratory of the USC Faculty of Communication Sciences.

The agreement was recently signed in the Rectoral Hall of the San Xerome School in Santiago de Compostela by the rector of the University of Santiago, Juan Casares, and the marketing and communication director of Brainstorm Multimedia, Miguel Churruca.

Con este acuerdo, se confirma el firme compromiso de la empresa con el ámbito académico, recientemente reconocido con el “Premio Cooperación Universidad-Sociedad” de la Universidad Politècnica de Valencia, en su categoría de I+D. Con este convenio, Brainstorm consolida asimismo su ya dilatada colaboración con CIDUS (Plataforma para la innovación y la experimentación en contenidos digitales de la Universidad de Santiago de Compostela).

CIDUS (Platform for innovation and experimentation in digital content of the University of Santiago de Compostela), is aimed at research of excellence in R&D&I, technological transfer to the audiovisual and multimedia sector, as well as professional training in all phases of the life cycle of any type of digital content. For its creation, CIDUS had significant funding from the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Commerce, Red.es and CRUE, by qualifying in the competitive public call “Digital Professionals” of the Avanza 2 Plan.
