Spain Film Commission organizes training sessions throughout Spain
The city of Pontevedra hosts the first cycle of training sessions organized by Spain Film Commission, which aims to promote training among new representatives of the non-profit association's offices.
Amaia Mauleón, delegate of Vigo Film Office; Dimas Gonzalez, responsible for Santiago Film Commission; Paula Cabaleiro, commissioner of Pontevedra Film Commission, and finally, Miguel Angel Montes, of Asturias Film Commission, they are the new ones commissioner who are present in the training cycle taught by prominent personalities in the film sector such as Eduardo Vietitez, CEO of Crest Film; Piluca Querol, director of Andalucía Film Commission; Maria Liano, production director of VACA Films; y Elena Martinez, director of Andersen Tax & Legal Spain.
The training sessions are taking place in the administrative building of the Provincial Council of Pontevedra on days September 13 and 14. Some of the topics that are being addressed are “Green Shooting”, “Legislation plus tax incentives in cinema”, “The role of a producer” o “The experience of a film commisser”.
The cycle of training activities will continue in the cities of Avila (September 26 and 27), Sevilla (October 10 and 11), Toledo (October 24 and 25), San Sebastian (November 14 and 15) and Alicante (November 28 and 29).
