Rosado will be accompanied on the new board of directors by Koldo Lasa, Ricardo Martínez, Juan Manuel Guimerans and Emilio Julián Alhambra, in the vice presidency.

Carlos RosadoSpain Film Commission has elected its new board of directors for a new four-year period. This board is the result of a candidacy for integration of maximum consensus and territorial balance of the Spanish network of Film Commissions.

One of the objectives that the new team has set is the improvement and expansion of the tax incentive for filming in Spain created, at the request of the Spain Film Commission, in January 2015. This incentive is already representing an effective increase in the competitiveness of Spain as a destination for national and international filming.

They also aim to increase the international promotion of Spain as a filming location, promoting not only the locations but the industry and Spanish audiovisual professionals.

Other objectives will be to improve coordination with the ICAA, ICEX and Turespaña and with the Autonomous Communities to complete a strategic plan that takes advantage of the wide possibilities that Spain has in the so-called filming industry; open new markets and consolidate Spain's presence in fundamental markets and festivals; develop the conclusions of the I Spanish Conference on Cinematographic Tourism that allows the tourist profitability of cinema and television filmed in Spain; and the creation of a Cluster that brings together the tourism industry and the audiovisual industry.

At the head of the new board of directors, Carlos Rosado Cobián (Andalusia Film Commission) has been re-elected as president. He will be accompanied on the board by Koldo Lasa Aristu, vice president (Navarra Film Commission); Ricardo Martínez Cedres, vice president (Tenerife Film Commission); Juan Manuel Guimerans Rubio, vice president (Valladolid Film Office); Emilio Julián Alhambra Sempere, vice president and secretary (Comunitat Valenciana Film Commission); Pere Lluis Clavería Vilar, treasurer (Terrassa Film Office); Teresa María Azcona Alejandre, member (Aragón Film Commission); Ernesto Del Río Villagrá, member (Bilbao-Bizkaia Film Commission); Víctor Lamadrid Hernández, member (Cantabria Film Commission); and Dimas Marcos González Bennett, member (Santiago de Compostela Film Commission).

Spain Film Commission was established in 2001 and includes 28 members who belong to the autonomous communities of Andalusia, Aragon, the Canary Islands, Cantabria, Castilla la Mancha, Castila y León, Catalonia, the Community of Madrid, the Valencian Community, Extremadura, Galicia, the Balearic Islands, Murcia, Navarra, the Basque Country and the Principality of Asturias.
