Carlos Rosado, new president of the Spain Film Commission
He will replace José Antonio Escrivá who, at his own request, is leaving the presidency to focus on the outsourcing of the Ciudad de la Luz Studios.
The Board of Directors of the Spain Film Commission (SFC)has entrusted Carlos Rosado Cobián, president of the Andalusia Film Commission, with the presidency of the Spain Film Commission, replacing José Antonio Escrivá, at his own request to focus on the outsourcing of the Ciudad de la Luz Studios.
The new board will have the vice-presidency of Lluciá Homs, director of Promotion of Cultural Sectors of the Institute of Culture of Barcelona City Council, head of the Barcelona Catalunya Film Commission; and Koldo Lasa, director of the Navarra Institute of Audiovisual Arts and Cinematography (INAAC) and Navarra Film Commission.
The new Board of Directors has assumed a mandate that allows the legal transformation of the entity and that it can be under the auspices of the national and regional institutions and professional corporations of reference in the Spanish audiovisual sector.
Among the objectives of this new stage is to promote a powerful territorial network that satisfactorily covers the needs of the entire national territory and to channel and assist an important part of the filming that takes place in Spain.
