Thomson Broadcast has presented its new Elite 10 multichannel retransmitter, integrated into the energy-efficient GreenPower range. Designed to ensure coverage in urban or mountainous areas, the Elite 10 Green Power can be configured with up to six channels, including adjacent channels. In both indoor and outdoor operations, this repeater is configurable in transposer/gapfiller mode with minimal delay in SFN network environments. The unit has an echo canceller and an isolation gain ratio of 5/15 dB.

One of the advantages of this solution is that it has high selectivity in adjacent and digital channels, thus ensuring correct operation in areas that are highly saturated in frequencies or with high sensitivity in reception, allowing continuous signal transmission, even at very low input signal levels. Available as an option is the ability to configure the repeater with an SNMP agent and Web server, thus offering access to all monitoring and control parameters for deep remote operation and diagnostics.

The new Elite 10 is included in the same series as the Elite 1000 GreenPower, the mid-power Elite 100 GreenPower, and the Elite 10 GreenPower for low-power applications.
