Nortek reinforces its AV strategy with the purchase of Tv One
The North American consortium Nortek has acquired, in an operation of which no economic details have been disclosed, TV One, a manufacturer of equipment for the television broadcasting and professional video industries. The range of Tv One solutions will be incorporated into Nortek's extensive catalog, which includes a total of eighteen brands such as Linear LLC, Gefen, Xantech or Magenta Research.

The Nortek consortium has acquired, in an operation of which no economic details have been disclosed, the manufacturer TV One, specialized in equipment for the television broadcasting and professional video industries.
The operation includes all divisions and subsidiaries in the United States, United Kingdom, Taiwan and China. From now on, the TV One range of solutions will be incorporated into Nortek's extensive catalog, which includes a total of eighteen brands such as Linear LLC, Gefen, Xantech or Magenta Research.
David K. Barnes, CEO of TV One, highlighted that “we recently celebrated our 25th anniversary in the professional audio visual industry, and we have established a record of consistent growth, profits and innovation.”
The CEO of Magenta, a Nortek subsidiary, highlighted that "the combination of TV One with its proprietary Corio technology, its unique products and its solid growth, is a perfect fit with Magenta. The synergy between the two organizations is remarkable, and TV One fits very well within Nortek's professional audiovisual strategy."
Magenta, whose activity focuses on the pro-AV and digital signage markets, will thus see its position in the market reinforced with new synergies and solutions that Tv One will bring to the group. Nortek is a group founded in 1967 and is headquartered in Providence (Rhode Island).
