Carolina Godayol, general director of the joint venture between Chello Multicanal and A+E Networks

Carolina Godayol ha sido nombrada directora general de la joint venture entre Chello Multicanal y A+E Networks para la producción y distribución en la Península Ibérica de los canales temáticos Canal de Historia, BIO y Crimen & Investigación. Godayol posee una amplia experiencia en el ámbito de la televisión temática en España y Portugal.
In recent years she has been general director for the Iberian Peninsula of NBC Universal Global Networks (Calle 13 and SyFy). Likewise, she served as director of Showtime Networks and was, for two years, director of development and co-productions at BRB International. Previously, from 1993 to 2000, she was marketing director and director of Canal Panda at Chello Multicanal.
PhD in Information Sciences from the Complutense University of Madrid, she recently completed the Advanced Management Program at the INSEAD Business School. Godayol has a Master's Degree in Audiovisual Business Management from the Madrid Business Institute and a Bachelor's Degree in Social Communication from the Andrés Bello University of Caracas (Venezuela).
After heading The History Channel Iberia for seven years, Diego Castrillo is leaving the company to focus fully on the last stage of his personal project: obtaining a Doctorate in Information Sciences, focused on new technologies, and at the end of which he plans to undertake new professional challenges, either in Spain or abroad.
