Since February 2014, she has held the position of General Secretary of the Institute of Cinematography and Audiovisual Arts (ICAA).

Lorena GonzalezLast Friday, the Council of Ministers approved the appointment of Lorena González as general director of the Institute of Cinematography and Audiovisual Arts (ICAA).

Graduated in Geography and History from the Complutense University of Madrid, she belongs to the Higher Body of Civil Administrators of the State since 1997.

Since February 2014, she has held the position of General Secretary of the Institute of Cinematography and Audiovisual Arts (ICAA), so her appointment represents continuity with the work that has been carried out to date by the organization's management.

She has been Deputy Director of Human Resources and Economic and Asset Management at the National Competition Commission, Chief of Staff of the Undersecretary of Health and Consumer Affairs, Chief of Staff of the General Secretariat for Public Administration and Head of Area in the General Directorate of Personnel Costs and Public Pensions of the Ministry of Finance and Public Administrations, among other positions of responsibility. He has given numerous training courses both at INAP and in other training centers, and has been a member of the Evaluation Committee of the INAP Master of Public Managers.

Lorena González replaces Susana de la Sierra, who is leaving the ICAA due to discrepancies with the executive's fiscal and budgetary policy.
