Raquel Fuertes will be the new general director of CARTV

CARTV - Aragón - General Director - Raquel Fuertes

The Board of Directors of the CARTV (Aragonese Radio and Television Corporation) has approved by an absolute majority the proposal of Raquel Fuertes as the new general director of the corporation, which will be sent to the Cortes of Aragon for processing.

The proposal, presented by the president of the Board of Directors, Antonio Suárez, in the extraordinary meeting held this Wednesday, has been approved with nine votes in favor and six abstentions. With this result, obtained the absolute majority contemplated by the Law of Creation, Organization and Parliamentary Control of the CARTV, this proposal will be transferred to the presidencia de las Cortes de Aragón a los efectos previstos en la misma ley.

Raquel Fuertes ha trabajado en los servicios informativos de CARTV como redactora y presentadora en dos periodos, entre 2005 y 2011 y entre 2015 y 2018. Junto a Aragón TV y Aragón Radio, ha desarrollado también su labor profesional en medios como RTVE y Antena 3 TV.

En el ámbito de la comunicación institucional, Raquel Fuertes She has been head of the press and chief of staff of the spokesperson and advisor for the presidency and justice of the Government of Aragon between 2011 and 2015. In 2018 she joined the communications office of the Government delegation in Aragon through a competitive examination, and for the last seven years she has taught different subjects related to Communication as an associate professor at the San Jorge University.
