On June 16, the Santiago Rey Fernández-Latorre Foundation organizes the Forum “DTT: New scenarios after the analogue blackout”, led by Eladio Gutiérrez Montes, an expert in the implementation and development of DTT in Spain.
During the conference, the speaker will take stock of the first year of life of DTT in our country, talk about the so-called “second generation of DTT” and carry out an analysis of the new expectations that are opening up to the audiovisual sector.
From 2007 until its dissolution in May 2010, Gutiérrez Montes presided over Impulsa TDT, the Association for the Implementation and Development of Digital Terrestrial Television in Spain, and at the same time he has toured most of the Ibero-American countries defending the digital TV standard of European origin against other models.
Telecommunications technical engineer and graduate in Audiovisual Communication, he has held various management positions at RTVE since its incorporation in 1974, such as director of Broadcasts and Production and director of RTVE Digital. He has also been director of Net Radio Medialatina, a Spanish subsidiary of Teledifusion de France (TDF).
