Under the slogan “Newsroom in a box” Xedio Flash offers a rack system with four video channels (2 for ingest + 2 for playout), along with a controller and full Gigabit connectivity.

Xedio Flash provides a completely tapeless news production pipeline, with news entry capture, ENG file import capabilities, scalable NAS central storage, on-the-fly non-linear editing, format-agnostic content management applications, and instant streaming without rendering. It is the ideal system to reduce air time and offer instant news transmission.

Heir to the popular Clean Edit, Xedio allows you to manage the complexity of sources and files of different formats and definition, while improving productivity, without the need to duplicate the media with direct multi-platform/multi-format output.

And all this very quickly since this solution allows you to edit at the same time as the material is ingested, delivering it at all times in native (without the need for transcoding or file transfer, with up/down scaling).

Xedio Flash is, therefore, a format and encoding agnostic solution, supporting XDCAM, AVC-Intra, DVC-PRO, DNXHD files, among others.
