Chyron strengthens its structure in Europe

Chyron has announced three new appointments to its London office with EMEA responsibilities: David Scott, Stephen Kelly and Oliver Parker.

Chyron today announced three new appointments to its London office with EMEA responsibilities.

Industry veterans David Scott and Stephen Kelly will be the new regional sales directors in EMEA while Oliver Parker will take charge of EMEA product demonstrations. These three roles will be based in the Chiswick office, reporting to Chryron's vice president of sales EMEA, Paul Glasgow.

David Scott will be primarily responsible for sales in Russia and the Nordic countries. Scott comes to Chyron after his time at Avid where he was responsible for projects such as BBC, Red Bee Media, C4 and ITV. Prior to Avid he had worked as regional sales director for broadcast at Pinnacle, Philips/BTS and Sony.

Finally, Oliver Parker joins Chyron from BSkyB, where he had worked as a live graphics operator with a special focus on real-time graphic solutions both in the studio and on mobile units.
