Coinciding with InfoComm, Roland Systems Group has announced the availability of upcoming versions of its Remote Control Software (RCS) for Mac on its popular Roland M-480, M-400, M-380 and M-300 V-Mixer consoles.

Coinciding with InfoComm 2011, Roland Systems Group has announced the availability of upcoming versions of its Remote Control Software (RCS) for Mac on its popular Roland M-480, M-400, M-380 and M-300 V-Mixer consoles.

The RCS is used for control, sending/receiving configuration data allowing users to prepare channel settings, effects and setups before arriving at the performance venue. When connected via USB it allows additional, simultaneous and independent control of the V-Mixer console.

Now existing PC and Mac users can use the native version of RCS also in conjunction with remote desktop software or VNC viewers for use wirelessly with iPads and other tablets.

The Mac version is expected to be released in September and will be a free download through the page web. Just choose the V-Mixer model, click “Software/Updates” and download the software. It should be noted that there is an accompanying driver that must be installed before also available on the page.
