Greater prominence of audiovisual clusters in Broadcast 2011
A joint stand of the regional clusters, a networking meeting and a day on the role of these entities as generators of content and business, news from the call for the International Professional Exhibition of Audiovisual Technology.
The growing prominence of clusters in the audiovisual field will be recognized in the fifteenth edition of the International Professional Exhibition of Audiovisual Technology, Broadcast IT 2011, which will be held at the Madrid Fair, between October 25 and 28, organized by IFEMA. The contest thus recognizes a model of concentration of different agents, who share the same objectives and interests and who are contributing so much to this industry.
The keys to this presence at the fair are a joint stand of the audiovisual clusters, the holding of a networking meeting, and a specific day around their value as generators of content and business.
Those are the three big news of the next call. The clusters have been participating in Broadcast IT for a long time, but this edition is the first that will have a joint stand, for which three of the main Spanish clusters, those of Madrid, Galicia and the Basque Country, have confirmed their presence. These three audiovisual clusters will also organize a networking meeting to promote commercial exchanges between the companies that make up the different audiovisual clusters in Spain. That is precisely what networking consists of, establishing a professional network of contacts that allows you to become known about a company and its business, listen to and learn from others, find potential collaborators, partners or investors...
Finally, and within the 2011 Broadcast Technical Conference program that will take place in parallel to the commercial exhibition, a round table related to this area has been planned for the first time. Specifically, this round table, titled “The Audiovisual Cluster as generators of content and business in the audiovisual sector” will take place on the first day of the fair, October 25, 2011, in the afternoon. Representatives of the audiovisual clusters of Galicia, Extremadura, the Balearic Islands, Valencia and Andalusia will participate. Each of them will make a brief presentation of a success story of their activity, and then open a debate session.
