Hi Tech will show its control system for live production at IBC
Based on a touch screen and a modular hardware structure, the system makes it easier and faster to ingest, edit and output media from multiple sources.
Hi Tech Systems, a British manufacturer of remote control panels for VTRs and servers, will present its Avita live production control system at IBC. It is a hybrid control system designed to facilitate and accelerate the ingestion, editing and output of media from multiple sources. The system is based on a touch screen and a modular hardware structure allowing multiple users to access numerous network ports.
The heart of the system is the Avita engine that provides sophisticated tools for managing clips by sharing databases, searches and multiple play lists.
The hardware panel has a large touch screen from which it is extremely easy to manage playlists, server setups, creation and management of clips, databases and searches. Additionally, modules can be configured with a wide range of functionality and appearance options (including multi-language). Avita features a drop-down module that facilitates operator comfort when using the touch screen for long periods of time.
The system is designed to operate with any video server using professional industry standard control protocols.
