AEQ at the World Swimming Championships

The official event broadcaster CCTV has selected AEQ technology in the form of TLE02-D portable audiocodecs to provide all the commentator positions present at this sporting event that takes place until July 31 in Shanghai.

CCTV, the official broadcaster of the XIV World Swimming Championships held in Shanghai (China) from July 16 to 31, has selected the technology of AEQ in the form of TLE02-D portable audiocodecs to provide all the commentator positions present at the event.

Organized by the International Swimming Federation (FINA) and the Chinese Swimming Federation, this championship hosts 66 different events, spread across 5 water sports (swimming, synchronized swimming, diving, open water swimming and water polo) at the two event venues: Shanghai Aquatic Sports Center and Jinshan District Beach (Hangzhou Bay).

In total, AEQ has supplied 55 AEQ TLE02-D audiocoder units and 110 headphones for journalists, which, thanks to their portability and simple start-up, are easily installed according to the needs of the events taking place at all times at the venues.

TLE-02 D

The TLE-02 D offers in a single device an audiocodec with a built-in terminal adapter, to establish quality connections over Euro-ISDN; together with a Premixer with return/headphone amplifiers and four-wire connection, for use on dedicated circuits, radio links...; a digital telephone hybrid, with echo cancellation and frequency extension, for use over analog telephone lines or mobile telephony; a Double Power System, using standard batteries or external power with built-in UPS, offering great work autonomy; and two Microphone inputs and one Micro/Line input, with level controls.
