13 TV breaks audience records during WYD
13 Tv supera a Intereconomía y 24 Horas con la programación especial de la vista del Papa (1,62%) alcanzando picos de audiencia superiores al 9% de cuota de pantalla.
Con apenas ocho meses de vida, 13 Tv ha pulverizado récords de audiencia con la programación especial de la JMJ y la visita de Benedicto XVI.
La cadena ha batido su récord semanal, diario, y ha alcanzado picos que superan el 9%, superando en ocasiones a cadenas como La 2 o Antena 3.
During World Youth Day, held from August 18 to 21, the channel obtained an average of 1.6% share, surpassing its main competitors. Intereconomía registered 1.18% while Canal 24 hours achieved an average of 1.03%.
On Saturday, 13 TV recorded its best daily audience by exceeding 2% share (2.06). On August 20, one of the central days of Benedict XVI's visit with the Mass from Almudena and the Vigil in Cuatro Vientos, the network practically doubled the figures of Intereconomía (1.09%) and 24 Horas (1%) and even surpassed consolidated networks such as La 2 de TVE, which obtained 2.02%.
Sunday was also a day of historical records for 13 Tv. The broadcast of Benedict XVI's Sending Mass on Cuatro Vientos obtained an average 6% share, an excellent figure that doubles that of Antena 3 (3.1%) and triples that of Intereconomía in the same slot (1.8%). In addition, the network recorded golden minutes during the Cuatro Vientos Mass of 9% share at 9:42 a.m.
13 TV has offered all the WYD events through more than 250 hours of programming with great technical and human deployment.
