Alfacam expands in India and once again has Grass Valley

Alfacam, one of the largest production services companies in Europe, continues its global expansion in this case, now, in India. Alfacam has recently signed a contract with local production company Sport Nimbus to cover the almost 750 cricket matches that will be played over the next three years.

As in all Alfacam projects, it is carrying out an important deployment in this country relying on Grass Valley cameras, including the Super Slo-Mo in HD LDK 8000 Elite and LDK 8300.

Alfacam has had several flypacks deployed since the end of 2010 to cover international cricket tours in Australia and New Zealand. The company is also responsible for much of the coverage of the Indian Premier League (IPL), adding a number of flypacks to its roster of teams in India.

Alfacam has recently signed a contract with local production company Sport Nimbus to cover the almost 750 cricket matches that will be played over the next three years. Each game will have between 22 and 30 Grass Valley cameras.
