Viditech, first customer of the Trinix NXT Multiviewer in Grass Valley

Viditech has chosen the Trinix NXT Multiviewer series for its new OBV5 mobile unit, the main advantage of which is that it incorporates a multi-screen, thus eliminating the need for additional wiring or other hardware.

Viditech, one of the leading production services companies in the Netherlands, has become the first customer of the new Grass Valley Trinix Multiviewer. For the first time it will be installed on the new OBV5 truck mobile unit, which will begin operating this month.

Launched earlier this year, and as part of the Trinix NXT family of digital matrixes, this matrix by incorporating a multi-display eliminates the need for additional wiring and other hardware, making it more reliable than other multiviewer systems.

The new option supports infrastructures of up to 3 Gb/s providing up to eight SDI multi-display outputs per card, including the possibility of monitoring audio for each source. The Trinix multi-display is ideal for monitoring with all types of controls in broadcast, live production and signal distribution, as well as for mobile units.

The new Trinix NXT Multiviewer is easy to install on the Trinix matrix, allowing all existing frameworks to be quickly and easily updated to support the Trinix Multiviewer solution.

The advantage of the Trinix Multiviewer is that it eliminates the need for external components and connections that consume rack space.

Con un consumo por debajo de los 75 watios y con ocho salidas, el Trinix NT Multiviewer ofrece dos entradas MADI para monitorización de audio AES discreto además de monitorización de audio embebido desde cualquier fuente enrutada en el multipantalla; sofisticados gráficos, tally (TSL e Image Video) y soporte UMD; monitorización de estado de la señal con funciones de alarma; y soporte para los sistemas de control de Grass Valley.

Cada tarjeta del multipantalla incluye 32 escalares con todas las entradas y salidas en cada tarjeta soportando todos los estándares de vídeo desde 480i a 1080p. Gracias a la capacidad en cascada de cada tarjeta, el sistema puede soportar más de 128 imágenes en una salida sencilla sin re-escalar las señales en cascada.

La nueva unidad móvil de Videtech, que está siendo ultimada por el integrador de sistemas D&M, contará con una docena de cámaras Grass Valley LDK 8000 y una mesa para producción en HD Kayak.
