Clearcom provides TVE with the Weather Central weather presentation system

Clearcom, distributor in Spain of Weather Central's TV Fusion and Fusion Studio weather presentation tools, has installed two of these weather information systems at TVE's headquarters in Madrid and San Cugat.

Clearcom, a company dedicated to the supply, installation and training of equipment for the professional video market, and representative for Spain of Weather Central, has supplied TVE with an advanced system for graphics applied to meteorology.

The flagship of Weather Central is the Fusion system, which allows you to create highly accurate weather presentations, integrated into a Chroma-key production solution that gives direct access to a set of custom tools that allow meteorologists to make changes to their presentation on the fly, ensuring a fresh and dynamic look to their speech.

As a novelty, this North American company has developed Fusion Studio, a new and integrated 3D creation software that provides striking 3D graphics allowing meteorologists to interact directly with the 3D elements in real time that appear on the screen, using Weather Central's patented MagicTrak technology. Fusion Studio provides real-time rendering of a true 3D environment, with multiple lighting sources, texturing, and data mapping onto 3D objects.

The MagicTrak interface integrates with the new and improved patented Scene Launch technology, which allows you to easily create a virtual wall of monitors, with automatically controlled elements with thumbnail images that the presenter can claim immediately in front of the screen.

Unlike previously available solutions, which require up to 40 instructions to create a link, Scene Launch elements can be built in 4 easy steps.

Additionally, new Animated Revealers allow meteorologists to add visual appeal to presentation screens with multiple graphic elements, providing an easy way to keep presentations fresh and engaging.

Both firms supplied and installed one of these systems at TVE and trained the Public Entity's Meteorology group in 2009, and this year they have provided another of these systems to TVE's headquarters in Catalonia, in San Cugat.
