Vietnam Television chooses Jampro for ambitious antennaization project

Jampro Antennas has been awarded a major contract from Vietnam Television (VTV) to install ten DTV-ready antenna systems in different locations in this Southeast Asian country.

Vietnam Television (VTV) has commissioned Jampro Antennas the installation and commissioning in ten of its broadcast stations of as many JUHD model UHF wideband panel antennas, UHF combiners, Jampro Proline transmission lines and related RF components. Each installation will be delivered to VTV as a finished product, fully operational and tested.

VTV chose JUHD antennas because their modular design provides broadcasters the flexibility to configure various elevation patterns so that coverage can be customized to suit Vietnam's topographical challenges and because the stainless steel antenna structure has proven to be well suited for hot and humid tropical climates. Additionally, the panel's fiberglass domes provide additional protection.
