Roland adds the new VR-3 to its range of streaming solutions

The new VR-3 that occurs in Interbee is an audio mixer and video switch fully integrated for live production and online streaming that combines the power of Roland audio and video technology in a single unit and expands the growing line of AV mixers and products prepared for streaming.

Coinciding with the interbee fair that opens this Wednesday 16 in Tokyo, Roland Systems Group presentará el nuevo VR-3: un mezclador de audio y conmutador de vídeo totalmente integrado para la producción en directo y el streaming on-line. Actualmente, todos los eventos, ya sean multitudinarios o reducidos, requieren una gran variedad de equipos para la producción. Existen entradas de audio desde micros, mezcladores de audio, fuentes de vídeo hacia un mezclador de vídeo, entradas de ordenadores o monitores de previsualización de vídeo que capturan el evento de alguna forma, y que también lo envían en directo on-line vía streaming.

Al igual que el popular Roland VR-5, el diseño “todo en uno” del VR-3 simplifica considerablemente la producción y el streaming de eventos en directo.

The innovative VR-3 design incorporates a video switch, an audio mixer, preview monitors and a USB output prepared for streaming, all in a single unit.

As a Video/Audio Type device, online streaming is done in a simple way, connecting it to a computer that has a live streaming service such as Ustream, Livestream, Stickam, Justin.TV, Worshipstream.com, Websharelive.com, etc. Savings in hardware equipment, configuration time and connection complexity makes it a simple and easy solution for any event.

The VR-3 is totally portable, with just over 2 kg of weight. It can be fed by the power supply included or with external battery options such as the Sanyo Juice Pedal. Its intuitive interface with touch screen represents an easy way to commute video sources, as well as an efficient way to access the menus. This portable live production solution is ideal for schools, churches, conferences, corporate, sports, commemorative events, or online live production.

The VR-3 will be available in January 2012 through the Authorized Distributors of Roland Systems Group.
