Irdeto reinforces the fight against multi-device piracy
After the purchase of the manufacturer BayTSP, specialized in anti-piracy systems, Irdeto reinforces its commitment to the protection of rights. One of the solutions that it will market immediately is ActiveCloak, which uses artificial intelligence to protect the content of broadcasters and production companies that distribute over the Internet and other media.
After the purchase of BayTSP, Irdeto will reinforce its commitment with solutions capable of ensuring the protection of content on any platform. BayTSP's proprietary technologies search and analyze data for content not authorized for distribution, such as movies or series that are copied, replicated and distributed over the Internet.
According to the company, BayTSP technology carries out more than one billion monthly checks, including P2P, on-demand or live streaming.
When the system discovers a rights violation, a notice is sent to the site owners and their respective suppliers. In addition, the company also offers information that helps lawyers of injured companies in their anti-piracy processes.
For more than 40 years, Irdeto has been helping to drive the evolution of the web-connected day whether by assisting in the creation of the world's first satellite-based digital pay TV network or the first mobile TV broadcast service to nearly every type of device and media regularly used by businesses or consumers. Irdeto has been there since the beginning and proudly looks forward to continuing to support our connected day, driven by the digital industry.
