Issuance automation with VeasBlack

VeasBlack allows you to work with multiple compression formats with high reliability, ease and flexibility of operation, fulfilling the functionality of generating or inserting programming or commercial insertions and characters.

Veas has a solution to automate a channel. We have analog and digital systems for SD and HD, presented in four versions VeasBlack D, S, The modules are On Air, OSD Logo or Character Generator, Import, Play List Editor and Reports.

VeasBlack allows you to work with multiple compression formats with high reliability, ease and flexibility of operation, fulfilling the functionality of generating or inserting programming or commercial insertions and characters, logos, time, temperature...

This solution allows you to unify the functions of video server and OSD inserter with logo (animated or static), video on video, multiple fixed or scrolling texts that can be dynamically updated, 100% automated clip info of musical themes... The information update can be carried out through Intranet, Internet or RSS.

The system is modular integration, and each module can be installed in the same workstation or separately.

The VeasBlack system is integrated with different video and audio cards that allow an appropriate interface for all types of installation, whether analog, digital or optical. The output can be optical, SDI, composite and component RGB or YUV, Genlock, as well as with analog or digital AES/EBU audio.

Simultaneously, it is possible to enable streaming output. The system thus integrated fulfills the main function of video server, importing and managing videos to the system and creating commercial or programming playlists.

The OnAir application brings together all the controls necessary for on-air operation on a single screen: playlist with photos, video data at each step, file browser and preview in eight categories with quick search, time synchronization, OSD Show, OSD Hide... The playlist can be modified at any time, even playing on the air. In addition, the system allows an external video signal to be inserted into the programming as another step in the playlist, for example a satellite signal.

As for the logo-character generator, it allows you to generate multiple templates to then use them dynamically in the different steps of the playlist, using the OSD Show and OSD Hide instructions, which allow you to activate and deactivate the OSD templates of each of the sections of the playlist, manually or fully automated.

Using the Import module, the digitized videos can be imported into the VeasBlack system and finalized. It allows you to test and view the videos before importing them and verify that they are correctly encoded. You also choose the name, assigned category and the photo of its content that identifies it in the browser and in the playlist.

Para armar de forma rápida y muy gráfica la playlist mediante un sencillo dragg&drop, Veas ha desarrollado el módulo Playlist Editor, pudiendo crear listas por bloque, hora, día, semana o mes y asociar los templates de OSD con sus correspondientes a cada tramo de la playlist. Los videos archivados se pueden localizar, de forma rápida, por categoría, nombre, descripción…

Finally, note that all videos broadcast by VeasBlack are effectively reported in the Veas Report module, with a legal broadcast report. Using configurable filters, whose settings can be saved for repeated use, we can work with a specific date/time. This makes it much faster to corroborate the broadcast videos. The module has the function of comparing a created list against the issued list, to have an immediate emission report. In addition, it has an integrated configurable graphic representation, which allows obtaining different graphics and statistics of what is broadcast for a quick visualization of the content broadcast on the air.
