With only two Pablo rooms, the London studio The Look has become a reference in the staging and shaping of fiction series in the United Kingdom.

London's Soho is, without a doubt, the London neighborhood with the largest number of independent film and television production companies and post-production companies. Post-production facilities in Soho vary greatly in size and style. There are large, international and well-established companies, but we also hire small post-production boutiques with very personalized attention to their clients. The Look would be a good example of this.

The Look offers a highly skilled service to some of the television industry's best creative talent. There are only four members of The Look's creative team, and yet the quality of their dramatic production has placed them among the top five fiction post-production centers in the United Kingdom, facing other companies with more than a hundred workers.

Its rooms are highly valued by its clients both for its post-production equipment and its high-definition projection systems.

Thomas Urbye, renowned colorist and director of The Look, maintains that “being a small, but technologically advanced, creativity center we can adapt our workflow for each job, thoroughly training our operators, and working with our clients hand in hand on projects.”

2011 has been an extraordinary year for The Look as they have participated in six of the main fiction series in the United Kingdom: Top Boy, The Fades, South Riding, Whitechapel, The Mystery of Edwin Drood y Monroe.

Almost 30 hours of television series were graded in The Look in 2001 with just two Pablo de Quantel who have been able to take on the entire volume and high quality of work in such a short period of time. Urbye explains that "people are looking in Soho for the best post-production systems. The fact that we can deliver such quality results in such a short space of time shows how powerful the Pablo solution is. Using two of them in a GenePool is a great help that allows two of us to work on half of a series, with shaping and onlineing in one Pablo and grading the other half of the project in the other."

The Look is now prepared to face new challenges in 2012 in a very busy year for the London studio.
