Tedial, a company specialized in content management software (MAM), Hierarchical Storage Management (HSM) and Broadcast Process Management (BPM) has announced the incorporation of Peter Gallen as solutions architect. Gallen will be involved in the design and execution of Tedial's upcoming MAM projects as well as technical research and marketing literature.
Gallen worked as a MAM and product management consultant for a number of broadcast equipment manufacturers including Sony and Dalet. Prior to that, he was Director of Product and Solutions Management at TMD and held senior roles at Verizon Business, Vitec Group Communications, Convera Technology and Storage Tek in a career of increasing success that has spanned more than 20 years.
Regarding his incorporation, Gallen has been very happy "to work for a truly leading technology company such as Tedial. Throughout my career I have specialized in facilitating the most significant technological transitions in the industry: from the first graphics systems and pioneering non-linear editing solutions, to the current stage of digital workflows carried out with MAM solutions and media storage. As a result of that, today I have considerable knowledge and experience regarding the evolution and application of digital workflows for broadcasters and other media-focused organizations, both from a solution architecture and workflow innovation perspective.”
For his part, Rafael Dubois, commercial and marketing director of Tedial, added that "we are delighted to welcome Peter to the team. He has excellent practical experience very relevant in this area of the industry and an important network of contacts after his vast experience establishing distribution networks in training positions. The last 12 months have been very successful for Tedial and we look forward to facing new challenges in 2012."
