Trigital has supplied 13 educational licenses of Avid Media Composer 6

Trigital has equipped with the Avid Media Composer edition system the new image postproduction room of the Seventh Ars Cinema and TV School, which is used for the assembly and postproduction course offered by this Madrid Studies Center.

Specifically, Trigital has supplied 13 educational licenses of Avid Media Composer 6. This latest version has been redesigned with a new 64 -bit open architecture that further improves performance, flexibility and production capacity.

Fernando Sánchez Bayo, director of Seventh Ars, explains that his school leaned for Avid Media Composer on recommendations of his teachers: “Within the improvements they proposed for this year, they advised us to bet on the latest version of the Avid Media Composer for its improvement in the interoperability, speed and ease of use, in addition to the ideal system to work in 3D.”

"It is also the software that many of our teachers use in the companies where they work. The truth is that we always pay attention to the recommendations of the school teachers; they are the ones who give us the technical guidelines of the equipment that are needed and that are used professionally in the market," added Sánchez Bayo.

The Seventh Ars asset and postproduction course teaches everything necessary to mount films and also be able to work in the Department of Mounting and Postproduction of any filming, as an assistant or assembly assistant, both of image and sound. It is a practical course in which each student must mount the image of two short films, the sound of two others, work as an assistant in as many assemblies and set up a dramatic TV and a documentary. With the acquisition of these 13 licenses from Avid Media Composer, Seventh Ars can now offer your students of the asset and postproduction course a computer for each of them during classes.
