Barco and Doremi join forces to launch a complete DCI-certified server and projection solution

Combining Barco's experience and technology and Doremi's proven solutions, they will together offer a complete solution for those rooms that want to migrate to the digital system with minimal hassle and risk.

Coinciding with the CinemaCon convention in Las Vegas, Barco y Doremi have announced a partnership to launch an integrated turnkey projection and media server solution for the digital cinema industry.

Combining Barco's experience and technology and Doremi's proven solutions, they will together offer a complete solution for those rooms that want to migrate to the digital system with minimal hassle and risk. This is the first projection and media server solution that has been installed, tested and certified in the factory, to offer true turnkey solutions.

Moreover, they are fully ready to support high frame rate (HFR) 3D and Auro 11.1 3D audio technology.

Tanto el sistema que aporta Barco como el de Doremi (DP2K-Cx y DP2K-Bx) están totalmente certificado por la DCI y son totalmente compatibles con velocidades de cuadro más altas de hasta 120 fps en 3D y 2D en 60 fps, estando así preparadas para los próximos lanzamientos de Hollywood en HFR.

Esta solución conjunta ofrece también nuevos estándares en términos de nitidez de la imagen, al tiempo que ofrece colores más vivos y una calidad de imagen mejorada, especialmente en 3D. Además del soporte a HFR, todos los proyectores Barco DP2K pueden actualizarse para soportar 3D HFR través de una actualización de software gratuita y simple.

This proposal integrated with Doremi servers will be available on the Barco DP2K and DP4K series projectors.
