Tedial obtains full compliance certification for native DPP support

The Enterprise Tarsys MAM platform will thus offer more efficient workflows for DPP archiving and delivery.

Tedial has successfully passed the criteria of the DPP Compliance Programme, receiving AMWA certification for its Enterprise Tarsys MAM platform.

Tedial's platform is the industry's first in MAM environments to meet the AS-11 DPP Certification Level Criteria determined by the DPP Compliance Program and the UK DPP Broadcaster Technical Delivery Specification.

Its native DPP support offers efficient workflows for archiving, processing and delivery of AS-11 UK DPP files, allowing these processes to be automated as much as possible.

Additionally, native DPP support ensures that all media files delivered to UK broadcasters comply with regulations and include all metadata thanks to a specific extension that supports DPP metadata. Tarsys now also provides native support for reading, extracting and validating AS-11 UK DPP content, while native support for writing DPP files eliminates the need for an external editor.

An out-of-the-box ingestion workflow provides greater efficiency, automation of the creation of the received file, review of metadata, checking the integrity of the material and compliance with the DPP standard. If the required requirements are not met, the operator is alerted to manually add the necessary metadata. Operators can use Tedial's tools to add subtitles, audio files, and additional metadata to create a new DPP-compliant version of the media file.

For added ease of use, the Content Packaging for Delivery feature of Tedial's Ficus system can be used to create an MPM workflow to export selected components in the MediaSet.
