Colorfront Transkoder obtains certification for Dolby Atmos

Transkoder's official Dolby Atmos certification expands its capabilities, raising performance and productivity levels for movie theaters offering digital packages.

Colorfront Transkoder, the system for converting high-quality digital files in an automated way Colorfront has been certified by Dolby Laboratories for the creation of Dolby Atmos DCPs (Digital Cinema Packages).

Aron Jaszberenyi, CEO of Colorfront, highlighted that "Dolby Atmos is a unique technology that offers a dynamic experience in movie theaters. The official certification of our Transkoder by Dolby Atmos expands its comprehensive capabilities, raises the levels of performance and productivity to movie theaters that offer digital packages and consolidates Colorfront as the leading provider of solutions for digital cinema."

Post-production companies that use Transkoder will thus be able to create Dolby Atmos DCPs at a speed up to ten times faster than real time.
