ARRI certifies DVS Clipster for ARRIRAW
The RAW material from the Alexa camera will thus be available in the digital workflow more quickly and with the highest quality.
DVS y ARRI have announced the certification of the Clipster digital mediation workstation for Alexa ARRIRAW, ensuring maximum quality and efficiency in the post-production workflow between both companies.
The RAW material from the Alexa camera is thus available in the digital workflow more quickly and with the highest quality.
With support for the Alexa ARRIRAW format, DVS not only expands the list of formats supported by Clipster but also offers additional flexibility.
Thanks to its unique hardware platform with its popular accelerator, Clipster will allow you to work directly in real time with high-quality Alexa RAW material.
Raw content can be displayed and edited like this in the timeline. Clipster creates a simple timeline from the RAW material, carrying out the decoding and calculation of the color components lost in the different pixels (demosaicing) in real time up to 4K. Clipster's shaping tool manages and shapes all data. Fast data transfer between ARRI Alexa and the DVS digital intermediary workstation saves considerable time for editors and graders.
Henning Raedlein, Director of Digital Workflow Solutions at ARRI, highlighted that "with DVS we have found a very reliable and innovative partner for many years. Thanks to this close collaboration, the technical team worked from the outset to integrate ARRIRAW into Clipster."
Stefan Albertz, Product Manager at DVS, admitted that "ARRIRAW integration certification will help our customers develop even more efficient digital intermediation workflows with ARRIRAW content at an unprecedented level. Our joint solution responds to post-production workflow requirements and ensures sustainable performance in the DI process without compromising quality."
