TSL multi-channel audio monitoring at the BBC during London 2012
A total of 46 PAM2 units, supplied by Dega Broadcast Systems, will help control loudness, delay and latency issues.
The BBC will use more than 40 multi-channel audio monitoring systems from TSL during coverage of the Olympic Games at the International Broadcast Center (IBC).
A total of 46 PAM2 units, supplied by Dega Broadcast Systems, located in different operator positions during the games, including the BBC's VT editing suites and playout systems and commentary positions.
PAM2, which offers complete monitoring of loudness, audio delay and latency issues, has the capacity to monitor up to 16 embedded audio signals and decode Dolby E, as well as display the associated metadata.
