Midas will offer in the new Venice U a fusion of analog and digital technology
Midas is preparing the launch for next August of a new range of mixing consoles, the Venice “U”.
Midas With the new generation of Venice U consoles, it promises a continuation of its engineering concept that offers a balanced fusion of analog and digital technology.
The Venice U is much more than a great-sounding analog console as it offers broader access than ever to “Digi-log” technology, being a sound mixing, recording and processing system.
The bus structure of the Venice U will be identical to that of the Venice F, six auxiliary sends, four groups, stereo masters, mono buss and 7 x 2 matrix. All auxiliary sends have XLR outputs and inserts. All 6 aux sends are selectable pre or post fader and the two aux bus sends designated as monitor (fold back) also have pre or post EQ selection per channel. Communication with the computer is via USB connection
The range will consist of three models:
- Venice U 16, (rackable) with 12 mono microphone inputs, 8 mono line inputs plus 4 stereo.
- Venice U 24, with 20 mono microphone inputs, 16 mono line inputs plus 4 stereo.
- Venice U 32, with 28 mono microphone inputs, 24 mono line inputs plus 4 stereo.
