Broadpeak will show its latest proposals for content management in Content Delivery Networks (CDN) environments.

An IBC2012, Broadpeak will show its latest proposals for content management in Content Delivery Networks (CDN) environments. Among other new features, it will introduce new options in its BkM1000 CDN manager and the BkA100 analyzer, as well as in the solutions that guarantee maximum quality in the OperatorCDN and +ScreenCDN service.

At IBC, Broadpeak will introduce a new solution designed to help content providers assign the ideal CDN for their content based on various criteria such as content format. location of the end user, content provider…

On the other hand, Broadpeak has developed a technology that allows home networks to drastically reduce the number of equipment involved in the operators' network. As a result, content operators can more efficiently distribute video services to end users.

At IBC2012, Broadpeak will present enhancements to its BkM100 monitoring system, a sophisticated management tool that enables network service providers to deliver video content to any display, offering subscribers a superior experience on any network. BkM100 includes an advanced caching mechanism that optimizes next-generation tiering, combining the best of both worlds of IPTV and OTT. In addition, the BkM100 features a new and unique system for priority-based management of free and paid content to distribute video CDN services more efficiently.

Broadpeak will also showcase its BkA100 video analytics solution on its stand, which dramatically improves operator management and quality of service by providing meaningful data in a variety of formats. New features include a recorded response time in the different network modules, an increase in the number of dashboards, including map views and personalized user profiles.

The improvements in BkM100 Broadpeak and BkA100 further enhance the OperatorCDN solution allowing network service providers (NSPs) to manage a CDN more efficiently on their own networks and in turn offer a sales service to local content owners, generating new revenue streams.

These improvements will also influence the ScreensCDN solution, which makes it easier for service providers to manage bandwidth and storage usage more effectively. This increases the quality subscribers receive, regardless of network experience and streaming format.
