10,000 meters of cable, 124 professionals, 40 editing positions... Spanish Radio Television is ready to deploy at the IBC, International Broadcast Center, in the British capital. From there, RNE, TVE and RTVE.es will send their content, for the first time all in high definition.

Everything is ready from Spanish public radio and television for the London Olympic Games. RTVE now has its facilities at the International Broadcast Center (IBC) in the British capital fully operational.

With a 500 m² newsroom, the facility has forty editorial positions and an integrated editing and broadcast system.

From its central control, the forty signals supplied by OBS as Olympic television from the different venues will be received and managed, as well as the personalized signals produced by RTVE itself to monitor the Spanish athletes, from the set in the Olympic park and the different ground units.

For the first time in the Olympic Games, TVE will manage and broadcast all signals in high definition.

The RTVE headquarters in the Olympic city is connected for video, audio and data transfer via fiber optics with Madrid.

Four booths, three booths for high-level post-production, a complete filing and documentation system, a control and two radio studios... complete the operation.
